Can you clarify...

My machine came with 95mm NHP's, It does not have the counterbalance weight machined in the tail blade grips.

Does this mean I should be using plastic blades?

Thanks

I think the biggest problem with the Carbon blades is all in the HUB.

If you have the short hub and the bolts that screw through the blade holders into that hub then it's plastics for you.

If you have the extended hub with shaft's sticking out that the blade holders slide over and the short bolts which screw into the shafts then you can use Carbon - or plastic if you want .

The bolt WILL shear if you try Carbon in the early hub - believe me, I've seen it and it wasn't a pretty sight .

Cheers
Richard.

Hi,

Quote
That web page has not changed for a very long time, if you have a look at the latest manual (July 03) there is no mention of not using carbon blades.

I purchased my NT directly from Jan in September 2003. My manual is the 2003 german edition from the included CDROM.

On page 5, there is exactly the same statement as it can be found on the web page (http://www.henseleit-helicopters.de/TD_Zubehoer_e.html)

Btw., the blades with "Henseleit Part-No NT-0309" are performing very well in my opinion. The only problem is the look, especially after contact with some weeds. They are made of a very soft material.

nice..

Thanks guys, I've been away all weekend... Came back and you've solved my problem for me!

Looks like I missed an important part of the instructions (silly bugger).. better go back to the plastic ones, I have the 2002 tailblade holders.

cheers
Andy
