I am just fitting a Quick UK Metal Head to a Raptor 30 v2.
It was supplied as a combo pack with no specific build instructions.
The kit is mostly self explanatory except for the Blade Grip mounting and the arrangement of the "Thrust Bearing" within the grip.
Also there is quite a thick flange at the base of the grip where it lines up with the damper in the head block. What prevents the grip binding on the rubber damper.
I wonder if I am missing something from the kit ?
I am sure someone has seen this before.
Any help would be great........

Hi,

I just fitted Quick UK blade grips on my shuttle and found a similar problem. I noticed there was a collar on the origional feathering spindle between the center yoke and each blade grip. These collars seem to prevent the problem to which you refer, at least they do on the shuttle. I don't know much about the Raptor but have you checked if there is a similar part on your origional rotor head. Sorry if I am way of the mark on this one. Can any Raptor pilots come to the rescue?
