Hi heli nuts,
I have a question about gyros. The futaba 401 gyro comes 2 ways, 1. with a digital servo and 2. without a servo. The servo that comes with the #1 option looks to be rather large. I am flying a Corona. Will the large servo fit the Crutch hole designated for the rudder servo?
If you buy the version without the servo, what digital servo would work with the 401 and fit the Crutch with out modifications?

The S9253 servo won't fit the crutch without some serious modification. No problem, you can use an HS-81 servo with your GY401 and it works great.

A digital servo for the Corona? IMO, It doesn't pay to go too far overboard with the Corona tail because it's a slow turner at a 2:1 drive ratio. There just isn't much to work with. It's adequate for what it is though.

Thanks for the info,
Is that a HiTech servo?

Yes. Works real good, lasts a long time, doesn't cost very much.....Perfect.
