Should I break in my tt36 with or with out the muffler on?

I was told to break in my OS32 while it's in the heli with the muffler attached and hovering..

Take Care

That would work fine if I knew how to hover, this is my first heli so very new at it. Also read its better to bench break in ABC engines.

I'm new as well and have yet to hover my Raptor 30, I did an engine run briefly the other day just to make sure everything works. Next I'll take it and start doing small hops and break my engine in that way, within a few tanks I should be able to hover I hope and she'll be broken in (or broken!

Take Care and good luck! We'll both need it...

Maybe I'll give that a try soon as I get it put together. I'll at the part where I'll be putting the main gear in tonight.

Thanks for your help and good luck.

Break it in with the muffler on. It will be ridiculously loud otherwise. Do you have anyone helping you? You might get someone to look over your heli and set things up if you can. Bench running the engine is never a bad thing.

Thanks, John Cadwell
