Has anyone ever got a high nitro weston pipe to run good on 15% ? Been getting conflicting info. I've heard the high nitro version runs good on 15% or more , and some say it will only run good on 30%. Just hoping to get some feedback . I have the low nitro on my raptor using 15% and could not be happier with its performance. Buying one for an 0S 61wc running 15%coolpower and not sure which one to get. Thanks....

Scott, I had a regular Weston on a OS61 WC and it ran great on 15% Cool Power.

Geez....

I wasnt even aware there was a high and low version of the weston...

I have one on my os32sxh, purchased from heliproz.. they did not say it was for 15 or 30%... I have ran both 15 and 30% through this pipe and didnt seem to make much difference..

Is there a way to tell the two versions apart?

helinutforever, I got the same pipe and I wasnt told anything about there being 2 different pipes either, ive ran 30% and 20% and it seemed easy to adjust not touchy like a header at all. I wonder what we do have?

I have one on an 0s32sxh, it is the low nitro version and the chamber on it measures about 5 1/2 inches. Another guy at my field has the high nitro version and his is noticeably longer than mine. I understand that there is no difference in dimensions between high and low nitro versions on the 50 / 60 engines. The difference is in the baffeling.

Thanks, just measured mine and yep its exacty 5.5" too. Do you think 20% syn is too high for this muff?

It most likely is a low nitro pipe and is designed for 15% or less. If it's running good don't worry about it.

I will say that I have had no luck w/ 30% on a
a OS32 w/ low nitro minipipe. Went back
to 15 and it was happy as a clam. This was
after lots oof messing w/ head shims, plugs, etc.
