I am set on a GP3300 battery pack with matched cells . With the stock Fusion 7 motor. Which would be the best match, a 7 battery pack or 8 celll.

The stock EF7 motor is plenty powerful on 7 cells (hence the '7' in "Electro Fusion 7"). With 8 cells, you'll likely experience excessive operating temperatures and reduced brush life.

which speed control are you using

Chazzman,

Sorry to barge in, but I was wondering which speed control you are using with that ef7 motor. I have a corona kit with the ef7 motor but I have no speed controller for it and was wondering what to use. Also where is the best place to get it.

Thanks , Jer

A castle creations pegasus 35 will work very well. Do yourself a favor and throw out the EF7. It will give you nothing but grief. Get a kyosho atomic force for 20 bucks at tower and get some 8 cell packs. The 8 cells will be far more useful when you upgrade later.
