I'm new to this forum and new to r/c too, so I may have lots of questions.

I have been reading this forum for about two weeks now have got lots of good infomation already.

My Raptor 30 just arrived today and I'm starting to put it together, being new to this I have a couple of questions, some might be REAL newbie questions.

OK, now for the first newbie question, I take that because the heli is made over sea's, all those little set screws are meteric?

I've read that I should locktite most/all the nuts and bolts, my question is there some that I should not locktite.

Thanks for all your help.

I ordered these screwdrivers although I do not know if they are the answer. I have had trouble getting screwdrivers to fit well.

Thread locker should go into all metal to metal screws but not metal to plastic or on those nuts with nylon inserts.

The CA glue for screws into plastic is controversial. Not everyone thinks it is a good idea, because they sometimes cannot come out. Personally I don't do it but check my screws from time to time.

Those screwdrivers are a life saver, the best $19 I ever spent..and I CA`d my frame screws on one side as recommended and the first time I had to split the frames I was cussin...I will NEVER CA screws again...going into new plastic they will hold fine without it..just my opinion tho..

It's one of those deals where just a dab will do you. I havn't had any problems removing mine. I can see where it might be tough to remove some of the # OO size phillips but it works great on the #1 size for the main frames. Just use sparingly.
