First thing I would like to say is, The information/ Advice I have seen here in this forum is priceless. I would like to thank all of you in advance.
I just received my Sceadu 30 and I'm about to put it together. Is there anything I should do/get before starting this project? I got the shroud extention kit, Tail support bridge, Header tank, is there anything else you would recommend? ANY information would be GREATLY APPRECIATED......................
Thanks,

First of all, take your time. Make sure you use thread lock where the instructions say to. I would get a good set of precision tools--screw drivers, nut drivers, hex wrenches. Lithium grease for your bearings. And practice on a sim before you start flying for money.

note that it does not have a one way bearing starting coupling , invest in a canopy stand off for the front by century , mine is tail heavy a little might want to mount the battery on the front not in the cage , fly bar had some play , squeezeing the stab. then tighen . and follow supplement sheet . you should be good to go . this is just what i experienced ...00...

Canopy advise.....

I thought the grommets that came with the kit were a bit too small, even after grinding the stand-offs down.

I found a small pack of misc. grommets at Radio Shack that had enough grommets that were just a bit bigger, both ID and OD, than the ones supplied. Not only is the canopy easier to mount and remove, but the bigger grommets stay in the canopy holes without glue.

I also only use the cotter pins in the back holes.......no way the front is going anywhere unless the back detaches first.

Have fun!!!
