Actually, no

4.3Kg is not the best answer, although it does help.

I had a Millenium2 and an Xcell before my 3DNT. On both helis a low frequency vibration was showing up as I would reduce the headspeed below 1500rpm.
On the millenium, the shake was noticeable at 1550 and started to be annoying at 1450. Switching to harder dampers in the head helped, it could be flown at 1500 but not really below.

However I just can not explain why I can fly my 3DNT at 1200, but I do it from time to time, no shake, no vibration, no noise either...
And it is fun doing some 3D slow flying at that rotor speed. (Do not forget a mix cyclic->throttle, which is absolutely required.)
It must be due to the MFS design and the way blade-holders are dampened.
I did not try 1100rpm, as already at 1200 the engine is the limiting factor.

with the os91 it's lower

to get full power with the webra it has to run faster

Hi,

I am using an OS91FXH already. At that speed there is not much power available. A combination of swashplate->throttle and a GV1 allows me to keep the rotor speed stable provided I do not start manoeuvers that requires too much power.
Below that speed, at 1100 rpm a full pitch climb may cut the engine and at minima creates an hick-up and a 90° rotation...

However even at 1100rpm, no vibration.

i've done and also seen Jan flying at 1200 rpm doing 3D (without gv1), but then you have to use 40% throttle=>schwash, it's clear that it's not so agressive flips or rolls as with a higher speed, but impressive because it's so quiet and you can actually see the main rotor going realy slow

Why....
the clutch contact rearly at 6500 RPM engine speed. that is the answer
You can fly the NT from 900 up to 2500 headspeed

How goes the auto's at 1100 ? Man I see bad things if you had to
auto from 1100, hell you'd be at 900 before you got the hold switch on.
