| Pull starts were popular a few years back when a number of helis, e.g. the Shuttle, used belt starts.Now that most helis use a hex start
system, which is a lot easier to use and far more reliable than a belt
start , the pull start has been largely forgoten.There is no reason, however, why you shouldn't use the pull start if you want to. |
I am sure those small 540 electric motors with one way bearing connected to start shafts will works quite well. As long as the battery pack not too heavy but putting out enough voltage to starts the engines. that would be cool.
