I've been hangin around for a month or so. Just trying to learn a little. I bought a corona new in box here from a classified ad on RR. Great buy all sealed bags. I am very pleased. With the heli kit was the stock ef7 motor. I have nothing else. I would expect to upgrade to a hacker brushless but I want to learn first. I have been flying reflex for a month.
My question is that I need an ESC. Can I get a controller meant for a brushless motor and use it on the stock motor. I would guess NO but it is only a guess. I would hate to get an ESC for the EF7 and love it, upgrade to a hacker and have a worthless ESC.
Any suggestions??? Also need RX and servos. I did spend some bucks on a TX- 9chp. I'm not afraid to spend some money, I just would like to avoid doing it twice for the same thing. But it may not be possible.
