Thinking of taking the dust covers off her and flying it again to due some gentle circuits.I have already got a number of more modern machines so I will try not to crash her.The only thing that I need to make her look respectable is the canopy which is missing.Apart from the original canopy is there another alternative which is cheap and effective?

Had a cyclone 2 just awile back....I had the same prob...no canopy, had a older x-cell canopy sitting there (you can find em' on e-bay every once inawile) added two dowel rods to retain it and it looked and worked great! x-cell canopy seems a little big, but it did fine and never shook loose!

If you take off the canopy mounting ring and make some stand offs,, just about any canopy will fit. The StarGlas 60 fiberglass canopies from Hobbies & Helis International http://www.hhiheli.com/ fit nice and are well made. I have a complete canopy for the Cyclone kickin around my basement. I also have other parts for the Kalt Cyclone versions I & II. If you are interested, get back to me.

Thanks for the replies - I was more interested in fitting a more up to date canopy - that way if I stack it I can just go and order another one. I have enough spares to keep this one flying for the next 10 years - even converted it to ccpm to take the slop out of the collective pitch .Would anyone know if the Raptor 60 fits.( with slight modification)
