I was wondering if anybody is or has used the the hitec digital HS-5925MG servos in the raptor 60 and if so what do they think ,and or have they had any problems?

I am currently using 5925's on Cyclics and 5945's on Collective on my Raptor TT70 and on my Raptor TT90. I liked them and that is why I replaced the exisiting servos in the 70 machine with them after I flew them in my 90.

So far all is well and I have have had not problems that were related to the servo. In fact I think that they perform very well for the $$$.

Just be sure and get a large capacity battery pack as they are hungry.

Hello,

My GPH flies very neice with those DIGI Hitecs.
Collective and elevator have the 5945, the rest have the 5925.
I use a CSM 400 gyro without any waging or drifting and a GV1 .
At last, I use 4 cell packs.

Everythings run fine without any problem. They only disandvantage is that they are very noisy when they are stationary, sometimes i hear an electronical wispering. I don't know if it is typical for Digital servos.

I was a little strapped for $$$, so I went with the 5625s on the Cyclic (their specs have been upgraded to 107oz of torque, speed is still the same) and I have the 5945 on the collective.

They do make noise, but so does my Futaba 9253 at times.

I have a 2400mah Nimh from Helihut. I am not doign much more than hovering, but I have an 18oz tank and I am getting nearly 20min flight times. 3 tanks and an hour later I haven't quite used up 1/2 the capacity of the pack. I do not know how low it can go and still be effective, but I recharge it after 3.
