I am an ameteur flier with a GMP Cobra that has flown only twice, but not for 10 years.

I'm undecided what to do with it:

1) Try to find parts and support to get it flying again

2) part it out to the die hard GMP flyers.

It has a .45 and a 7 channel Futaba w/Inverter. What is it worth to the veterans? What am I getting into to get it up?

Hi Caryhombre,

I started flying heli the same way you are now, don't try to learn on a Cobra, it's good for one crash and then you are done for a while until you can gather all the parts to fix it. I just traded (3) Cobras with engines and servos for a new GoPed. Buy a Hirobo or aThunder tiger heli and learn to fly.

Sell it.Buy a Raptor.Great flying heli.Will take you from learning to 3D.Parts are plentiful and cheap.Its upgradable.The list goes on and on.You won't be sorry.
