Moving to Austin,TX, and looking for a Heli friendly club there. I am currently in OK, and they are not too nice here to heli pilots.

hmm....

Hey tap ... I'm moving to Austin tomorrow and am wondering the same thing. I've heard there's a club out on Parmer at 35 near Dell, but I've driven by there a hundred times and never seen anybody flying.

Anybody else know?

They had a heli funfly at one of the clubs in the fall. I remember it being on the east side of town. Somewhere around Hwy183 I think.

Go see Andy at Aero Hobbies, they fly in Grapevine, but also they are Heli friendly at the North Dallas R/C club. I spend most of my time at my girlfriends in OK. So I have not been flying in Dallas much. I wish I could find a place here to fly, they are not very friendly here with Heli's. Have been threatened many times, and finally gave up and let the old crowd have it.
