Hello count the teeth of the main gear and the teeth over clutch bell and devide. It will give you the proportion. Otherwise wait up to someone reply.

Make sure you go through each setup, by the book. I thourghly enjoy my GV1 on my R60, works like a charm. It sounds like overkill but I installed a 9253 servo on my throttle to help the responce time for the GV1, my Hitec 605 was slow and would not respond quick enough to the Gv1 commands. With the faster servo I don't have any hesitation on the throttle.

I a bit confused as it says not to set up Throttle curves. How in the heck do you do an invert setup then?

Hi Greg I got one.. haven't use it yet.. according to my understanding GV-1 is the Head speed Governor.. when engine rpm revs up to a certain rpm ie: 1500 rpm.. Governor activated then it stays at the pre-set rpm on the governor thus moving the throttle stick doesn't move the throttle servo( that's why you engine speed stays put while you can use the collective and cyclics to perform your manuevers) until the governor is de-activated. Even though you should really setting a good curve in case if GV-1 Fails.

You need to set up throttle/pitch curves anyway.

First off, the engine has to be tuned properly for the GV-1 to work properly. To do this, you will need to setup a proper throttle/pitch curve at least for normal mode. You also need a thottle/pitch curve setup in the event of a governor failure.

No, you can use the GV1 in normal mode. When you go below 20% stick movement as measured by the microsecond equivalent at the governor the GV1 switches off. If you do a normal idle up "V" throttle curve the the throttle never goes below 20% and doesn't switch off. That's why you must also set up a "V" throttle curve in idle up unless you want your engine to go to idle while inverted.

Thanks Bob, the manual is not very clear on any of that stuff. So basicly the set up is the same just the GV-1 over rides all my settings when it's on.

Me too........ I havent received it yet. I just got in my 9CHP and the module is bad so I havent been able to use it. But, I can at least learn the programing. Use to see you up in ICQ but not anymore.
