| Go see www.rchover.com and get an Ultimate BEC from Kool Flight Systems
At rchover we have found in some cases that Eolo pilots get what they call Radio Glitches, often if the glitch is Just in the tail rotor ,(the TR jerks) it is not a glitch it is the BEC in the ESC cutting out the motor for a very short duration causing the TR to jerk, which looks like a radio glitch. the cause of this is that the motor, gyro, and 4 servos are demanding to much from the esc so the BEC cuts out the motor, This UBC is a separate high amp 3-5amp UBEC. We have done extensive testing and we have found that the UBEC by koolflight eliminates to motor cut out. we recommend this be used with the Lehner motors and any other high performance setup.
Weight: 20 grams
Output Current: 3 amps continuous / 5 amps up to 5 minutes
Dimensions: 1 1/4 inches wide x 1 3/4 inches long x 3/8 inch thick
Type: High efficiency Switching Voltage Regulator
Input / Output leads: 12 and 8 inches in length
Output servo connector: Universal
5 Volt Version:
Maximum Input Voltage: 35 volts
Minimum Input Voltage: 5.5 volts (goes into bypass mode below 5.5 volts)
Output Voltage: 5 volts
6 Volt Version:
The 6volt UBEC will provide regulated 6 volts to your servos and RX for faster response times and increased holding power. You MUST check your radio gear (rx, gyro, and servos) to make sure it is rated for 6 volts.
Maximum Input Voltage: 40 volts
Minimum Input Voltage: 6.5 volts (goes into bypass mode below 6.5 volts)
Output Voltage: 6 volts
Simple to install:
All you do is solder the UBEC input leads onto your speed control power input leads.
Plug the UBEC into your RX where you would plug in your Rx battery. - OR - Plug the UBEC into an standard on/off switch harness.
Make sure you disable your speed control's BEC.
That's it, it's that simple. |
