| Try the best you can to keep any radio wiring or gear at least 6 inches (more would be better) from the coil, magneto or plug wiring and plug. This generally will do. If your plug is old and dirty, it will break down and cause RF from this.
You can also install on any affected servo lead back to the reciever, a ferrite coil or "choke" that will keep the RF from popping your radio. These can be purchased from electric RC suppliers and from Horizon.
Also, DO NOT run a full length reciever antenna on your helicopter with a gas engine, use a Deans or Revolution whip loaded antenna.
