Gasser Model RC Helicopters > RE: X-cell gasser vibration problems with G-231

Hello,

I am starting to get very frustrated with my gasser. I was orginally running my gasser with a G-23 Hanson engine. Everything ran great with very little vibration. My friend brought his gasser over with the new G-231 engine. The heli originally had a hanson engine as well. He flew it for me. I was amazed at how smooth the heli ran. It had plenty of power. When he landed the heli he was able to drop the idle so the blades would not even turn. My heli with the new G-231 seems to have some major vibration problems. The only thing that I changed was the engine and the CNC fan on the clutch. Could the fan be out of balance? Is the alignment off? Is the engine not dialed in properly. Is the engine not broken in all the way? Please help me, I want to fly instead of wrenching all the time. (714) 342-1040

Thanks,

Rick

Sounds like the Fan may be a little out ... try balancing it and see if it smooths things out.
