QuickWorldWide Ep and Wet Fuel Helis > Installing Quick 50 PRO fan on OS50

Hi all,

I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to helis and this is my first Glo heli, i've mostly dealt with electric helis.

I'm currently trying to install the quick 50 fan on my os50sxh engine and i'm a bit confused with the installation. I was wondering if the fan hub should be installed all the way down until it touches bearing surface on the engine? There's no pictures in the manual showing how far down it needs to go.

thanks

Quick 50 Pro Fan

On page 28 in my book (which I downloaded from QWW and printed out) it clearly shows the fan collet spacer and tapered fan collet installed prior to installing the fan and upper fan hub tapered collet. The fan shouldn't touch the bearing surface if properly installed.

I've got all the fan collet stuff installed, I wasn't sure how far down the fan hub should go over the fan collet stuff. I'm glad to hear that the fan hub shouldn't touch the bearing surface, cause I don't think I could get mine to go down that far.

Thanks heaps.
