| I am curious about the lithium flight packs offered by Duralite. I purchased a Duralite receiver pack along with a Duralite regulator/switch a while back and I have yet to try them. I've heard a few people say they had problems with radio interference when using these receiver packs along with the voltage regulator. They reported that this interference was likely due to the voltage regulator. Some also commented that there was no consistency with the interference reported. At one flying site it would be fine and at another location they would report problems due to radio interference. After they switched back to Nicad packs and also eliminated the regulator, the interference problems stopped. I have also heard reports from others who claim good results when using these lithium receiver packs and regulators.
Anyway, I am curious if anyone has any comment on this topic. I am a little hesitant about trying this product as far as a receiver pack application in a helicopter. |
