| Anyone know where I can get a slipper clutch for the Pro 60??? The item that can be fitted onto a JR Venture 60 looks like it may fit. This heli has the same gear ratio and the main gear looks very similar, but cannot find a supplier for this item. Luke from Ultimate, if you read this have you any ideas???
Also as an extra bit of info, the JR Ergo manifold for the Hatori 650 3D tuned pipe, fits the Pro 60 like a glove. It has a small upward rake that makes the 650 look a treat.
Also I have a Futaba FF9 CHP radio, the CCPM is set up as follows,
AIL -40
ELE +40
PIT -33
The ATV looks low on the pitch, but seems to work fine. I have the balls on the servo arms the same distance as on the bell cranks. Total pitch range is +10 -10. Does any one else have similar figures??
I converted the tail pitch control rods to Futura SE items, these are bolted on around the boom and not CA glue as the standard kit items, Helicopters and glue do not go together. Also the thin Carbon control rod has been replaced with a Raptor 60 2mm metal control rod, this has threaded ends to screw the ball link on. The 2mm stock Carbon rod had glued on ends, I thought this was just asking for trouble. All together this makes for a supperbly smooth tail and complements the "Jewel" like tail gearbox.
I have fitted a pair of 68cm NHP Razor Pro`s onto the Pro head. These blades have a 12mm root, the blade grips are 14mm. I had a difficult job getting the NHP`s and spacer to fit the grips, I had to use a pair of pliers and open out the grips slightly so that the blades would fit. Only problem with this is, that I used a 2mm Aluminium spacer that came with the blades, I hope this will not cause metal to metal noise with the metal blade grips when the blades lead/lag in flight.
Looking good so far.
