The Xpec uses socket heads for the M3X15 for lower frame, however the M3X32 for upper frame are still phillips head bolts, so with this kit you can change those out, and have the M3X15 as backup. The Std Freya uses all phillips, and this kit will change them all out to SHCS.

Hey Daz

It has been a while, but I bought a standard Freya 2 months ago and it is now a X-spec without the decals and carbon frames (I have the frames but want to use the stock ones for a while). If you can confirm that you still have kits left let me know and I will take one.

Thanks Buddy,
Blaze

Also, memo to everyone, if you are trying to decide on the standard Freya over the X-Spec, pay the extra money and get the X-Spec, I bought the standard and converted it piece by piece over three weeks and it cost me around $200.00 more than if I was to just buy the X kit. But the flip side is I have alot of spare parts if and when that gravity catches up with me!!!!

You can`t beat a Hirobo!!!!!!!!!

Weaver, glad you got those bolts changed out, doesnt take long to do, and a great job for a snowy day, even though it probably only takes an hour if that to do. Enjoy!!!

Z, I would make them up specifically for the EVO/Sceadu too, however I dont really know which bolts are required for the EVO since I dont own one yet, if you could post a desired pkg(thread and length) and qty needed, I can put up a $ for an EVO hardware set, naturally at a good price too.

I have had a couple purchase the Freya hardware set to use on the Sceadu/EVO but your right it would probably be better for the EVO to have its own hardware set.

Z

doesnt the Sceadu use any M3X15 SHCS, and what about the engine mount bolts and main rotor bolts, those are usually nice to have a few extra of.

Let me know, and I will make a post for Sceadu/EVO hardware set, and see how it goes.

Thanks, Daz...

I'll have to look and double check.

It's not that the Evo doesn't use any
SHCSs, it's just the frame screws
and tailbox screws are Phillips.

The engine mount screws are SHCSs
already.

Ok Z let me know, the more bolts that are needed to be replaced the better the price I can get them all down to. I just checked on the M2.6 and that is one expensive little bolt, but I think I can get them down. I'm still checking on the M2.6 locknuts those seem like a rare size in a locknut, but worse case scenario EVO users will just have to stick with the non locknut type that come with the kit, the main thing is to get the socket style bolts.

Hey Daz,

Got my Freya bolt kit today. Thanks! Guess I should have waited for you to put together that Evo kit instead of buying the Freya one Oh well.......
