| tail bladesI found that my tail authority suffered with the 8.5-1 gearing using the stock 30 blades on my 50 conversion. So what I did using the stock 30 Tail hub was fit some stock R60(95mm) tail blades on. I had to cut off about 1/8" off the R60 tail blade root length for clearance. Wow!! what a difference. The tail locks like it used to and is not all mushy feeling.The power from the OS50 can handle the extra load no problem. I'm running the long boom with 600 Vortex CF blades and there is no problem with blade interference at all. I added a little piece of carbon rod to my vertical fin to protect the tail blades from the ground.
