I've been thinking some about this and I have a couple ideas, how about...

ONE.... How about an UGLY subject. Take pictures of something in dis-repair, rundown, destroyed, misused, or just plain ugly like a dump.

TWO... REGIONAL. Take pics of a landmark, event, or phenomena that is unique to your area. Something that seperates where you live form everyone else (example: Jeff and his ski mountains )

How about

Something else in flight........I know there are safety issues here, but it can be done safely.

Just a thought and something out of the ordinary.

Another leading on form daggits second option would be a Statue / Monument.

Finally.....and difficult for some, an ancient /historical building, the older the better.

Counts on this forum are a lot lower than they have been and I have a feeling its to do with the upset caused by other threads, don't let it bother us guys, get back on it.

It's a great place here, and fun to be around.

Lee

PS - Plus I got my Joker CX coming Hope its ready for the January shoot.

how about we change abandoned dwelling to abandoned or disused anything to cover number ONE

Like this ?
1 Converging lines
2 Body of water
3 anything abandoned, disused, trashed.
4 colorful
5 regional landmark to the area.
6 anything else in flight

Something else in flight.. if you mean other aircaft?...as much as Id like to try it this would get me in trouble with CASA in Aus (who have already threatend me about illegal operations) if I took a plane or heli in flight from my rig.
Ive changed it to "anything in flight" if you dont mind, to cover bird life or kite etc..make it a little easier to do as well.

Cheers

Xmas day tomomrow here
Forecast looks good here, 28C, fine and clear with 10 knot sea breeze
(I live 1km from beach, can see it from my roof)
Got a big lobster and prawns for barbeque lunch outside..

Ive mentioned before regarding Aussie "putting a shrimp on the barbeque"
It is called shrimp for those in the US who are are not familiar with Aus prawns.
We in fact "throw a prawn on the barbie"
In Aus eating shrimp would be like eating house flies.
We eat prawns.
This is an Aussie prawn I have a sack full to barbeque for Xmas lunch

That one measures 7 inches long

They go a pink color when cooked.
Like richer variation of crab meat and juicier.
Rip off the head, tail and legs after cooked
De-vein the middle of it and chomp away.
Washed down with cold beer.

Cheers

MPA,

sounds good on the list except I'd like to see "landmark" expanded to anything that might identify the region you live in. Some may live in a region where there are no specifically identifying landmarks but there could be events/scenes that are region specific.

The "PRAWNS" look yummy...

I have in my youth caught and ate similar critters called "Crawdads" or "Crawfish" out of local rivers/streams. They are considerably smaller (lots more work) but quite yummy also.
