Has this UBEC/BEAT compatibility thing been properly sorted now. I'm hoping to find a tried and throroughly tested solution, not just something that someones tried for a dozen flights and appears to 'work'.

What problems have you had?

I've been running a kontronic 40-16-12 and a UBEC in my VoyagerE for quite some time now.

I believe some of the older versions or plane versions had a problem with UBEC due to the ESC having a feature to "recharge" the batteries (send voltage back to the rx battery) in flight.
