just wondering what the fine people here at RR are using as their browser? I found a great one called Avant! much faster and just flat out better than Internet Explorer. I think I just found its replacement! If your fed up with IE or just want a change.. go to downloads.com and grab it. Well worth it!

yeah.. i cant figure out what exactly it is.. seems to use use IE settings but is a cross between netscape and IE.. really diffrent but works good.. there are a few quirks i found when you restart, but you can disable them all. Different yet user friendly. i like it.

I tried that one but didn't like it for some reason, cause I replaced it. I use Mozilla Firebird, its fast, stable, and I like it

Safari & Mozilla.

Safari is Mac OSX only. You mean there's a DIFFERENT operating system?

I've been running with myie2 for a while. It sure is better than micosoft.

Thanks Jim. It seems ok. I'll use it till I'm sick of it

Opera was a pretty nice browser too. I find myself inching back to IE though after awhile

Netscape under Linux, IE under Win32 ... I beleive one of Microsoft's best pieces of software is IE ... its the fastest one around and doesn't crash more often than other browsers in the market

Linux all the way here.... I use Konqueror of the KDE gui. No pop-ups, fully customizable and of course virtually no viruses... he he he

IE is the best browser?!?!?
It still doesn't even have a pop-up blocker
Mozilla Firebird all the way. I used to use IE like everyone else then a friend pointed me to Mozilla and I've never turned back. Try it out. It's free http://www.mozilla.org

That would be Galeon (It's just a gui wrapper around the gecko rendering engine used in mozilla written with the gnome toolkit) Most of the time I'm in Debian GNU/Linux, but I tend to boot Windows more and more often now to satisfy my needs for RFG2
