Still do, I dont think I know that my engines run within 50 RPM through the entire 3D flight.

The Jet comment was to be very sarcastic, you must have missed it or it went right over your little head.

Oh by the way I run 11-0-11 degrees of pitch but it really doesn't matter to me you are starting to bore me. I need a therapist I don't know why I loose intrest with stupid people.

Alistair send me your heli I will set it for you with a Gov. and get you 98% on the sensor everyday.

I just got a futaba gv-1 im going to ditch the magnet sensor and buy a optical one from ricks. Do I just ca some aluminum foil on the bottom of my fan, or would it be better to get the painted upgraded fan and sand a sensor contact area down.

Turbo,

I never used the optical although I have good things about them especially the cost, but this is a good replacement option if you break the magnet sensor.

Good Luck with it they are great to have.

Yes, the bike tach (Yes, tacH, not K, as it is tachometer, and not tacKometer) only gives you your peak headspeed, but IF you know your top headspeed and you are not lugging your engine, you are are at or near where you need to be for your setup.

I am not against govs per se, but I AM against people using them as a crutch for good throttle/pitch curves. Govs are fine for some folks, and not so fine for others. Personally, I don;t care for them, but that may change someday.

WHY?!

What's wrong with the magnet system? If you install it correctly and balance your fan, it will never come out.

Furthermore, if you fasten the sensor correctly it will never come loose and never break.

What's going on that I hear people breaking their sensors and losing magnets?

Guess what I did, I put the magnet in the tt raptor fan with no ca, how in the hell do I take it out, or do I just have to get another one and drill this one out. Id drill it from the back with the smalles bit I got but I would have to do the same to the other side correct?
Maybe its a sign to get a metal one and a optical sensor
