Yep, and it is about time that someone has incorporated Bluetooth into a digital camera.

Not that it will really help us, the range is way too short for aerial photography.

Maybe we will see 802.11x protocols added. Of course, we could always send a PDA up and have that beam down the pix.

The Sony looks nice, but I think the Dlink has it beat for aerial usage.

The Dlink has a builtin WIFI tx/rx, and I found it for under $250 on Pricewatch. The Sony will need a network to wire into and is 6 times as much.

Have to see if there are any others out there ...

One thing we've been working on is sending the downlink video into a V-Brick plus to send it over the internet. Ultimately we'll be able to send it out via wireless LAN from remote locations.

Not quite sure how this relates to what you guys are proposing but interesting all the same. One thing with the V-brick directly connected to the server is the video quality is excellent.
