Just getting started. I just got my Sceadu 30 kit and OS 32 SX-H engine Monday. Can't wait to get started. By the way has anybody noticed the following in the Sceadu Manual. Go to first page under before starting the engine. Under item 3. This unit must not be operated by: the second bullet reads, Menstruating or Pregnant Women. I know we women can be a little hormonal but I still think this is going a little overboard. Just thought I'd pass that info along. I guess there aren't many women that see the manual.

Sure is nice!

Seems like everything I get involved in is predominantly male orientated. Back in school, there was only about 6 women in my entire engineering college........6

It's nice to see the women getting involved here!

Welcome!

Better odds than here Hockeytown Most of the women are civil environmentals anyway. Is there such a thing as a leftist engineer?

Thanks, John Cadwell

I hear ya!

I'm just glad I met my wife before the deck was stacked against me in school! And as an added bonus, she likes this hobby, and that I'm really into it!! Definately a keeper

A lot of men don't see the manual either. We don't read manuals (we do look at the pictures). We also don't ask for directions when driving, just drive around until we find it.

I wonder if that was a pure translation error, or if in Japanese it also says the same thing? If it does, that must mean they warn of that for many things, like Splash Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland.

You had the kit since Monday and have not started yet? My friend's Sceadu is coming on Friday and it will be finished before we sleep.

Heck when I get a new kit I usually have the box opened up and am working on it in the car on the way home from the hobby shop. But I would never drive and talk on My cellphone at the same time that's just dangerous.

Totally agree.

I totally agree with RSilvers. Men does't RTFM (Read The Fxxking Manual). They only look at the diagram how to put those parts togather.

I'm also one of them.

I would just like to say welcome to the wonderful world of helis and it is good to see more woman in the sport. I would like to know why they would put such a thing in the book. Like you said you all can get a little hormonel at times but when you do that just means that they sell more parts LOL LOL just an idea. good to see you here. Ted
