BLAIR,

Just wanted to let you know that the Mille with an OS90 and the full length zimmerman tuned silencer, is fantastic. Just wanted to let you know I have about 5 gallons though it and it's running like a rapped ape.

Hi J,

What pinion/gear ratio are you running? What blades?
What fuel? How are the vibes? Are you running a
fuel pump? What RPM on the blades?
Any idea what the noise level is? Did you use the
machined fan or the stock one? How much did
you have to shim the engine?

Rapped Ape

I used the kit available from Ron. It's the 15 toth pinion 8:1 ratio, aluminium fan, and heavy clutch. The blades are Modelsport 3D PROS 710s. No vibration, its as smooth as glass. The engine shims come in the kit. The noise level is very low, because of the tuned silencer,(quiet tuned pipe) it has a unique sound. I'm using Powermaster 15%, and no pump. Head speed is right around 1830 to 1850. The pipe controls it pretty good. The power is unreal. I also am not running a header tank and I haven't had a problem with the engine getting to lean near the end of the tank. I haven't been able to over load the engine yet, but I did manage to nick a tail blade during so agressive 3-D.

How did you nick the tail blades? Interaction with the 710 mains?

What size tail blades are you using?
What is your collective range, and also could you comment on your run time with the 90.

I was flying inverted backwards up wind and pulled up that's when it happened. My tail blades were MS107's and and I guess they just got to close to the mains. My collective range is +11 to -11. A tank of fuel lasts about 9 minutes, I have about 5 gallons of fuel though the engine.

I can tell you from experience, 710's (NHP Razors) will contact MS 107 tail blades
