I receive this info from HPI regarding Kalt helis................Its look like Mirage USA is the same people of Rickysrccar.com.


I’m sorry but we no longer handle the Kalt line. The distribution of the Kalt line here in the US has been handed over to Mirage USA.

I hope HPI is done screwing around with everyone. Kalt helis are really fine machines, but now everyone is so gun-shy of getting stuck with an orphan heli that they won't buy one. The Mercury M is without a doubt a far better machine than the Sceadu, but nobody will buy them. Grrrr!!

I agree. I don't have a Heli yet and was thinking seriously about the Mercury .50. I guess I'm like everyone else - gun shy. With the right support, they could become the top dog once again. The product is already there.

Hi All

well I guess I'm not gun shy because I have two of them and they are absolutely a sweet machine. people should look more at the
quality of this helicopter then getting the parts,somebody will pick
them up and parts will be around.they don't no what there missing.
what type of servos are you useing dig's our what,let me know.

Well, I'm not gun-shy either, I have a Baron 30 S, and a Baron 46, which was the predecessor to the Mercury M. One of my local flying buddies here has a Mercury M, it is an absolutely awesome flying heli with an OS .50 in it.

This thing with HPI really yanks my crank! It's the same as when Airtronics/Sanwa had Kalt, they never promoted their products, and they STILL don't promote their fine line of radios. I hope this Mirage outfit has all their ducks in a row, so to speak...

A major hobby outlet was offered Kalt Baron 30 kits at a discount when HPI first obtained the Kalt line. They were sell off the inventory. HPI denied that they were liquidating Kalt helis and parts at that time and that they were actively promoting Kalt and were going to have all parts in stock.
Acramax (gyros) was taken over; their inventory was sold off and now the company doesn't exist! A quick money grab.

Does Kalt have a website... I'm lookin for my first 30...

I fly a Logo 10 now, but I can't stand the 7 minute thing...

I'm also considering the Caliber 30 and the Sceadu.... but not the Raptor.... Raptor's are cool... but everyone has one... I'm kindof tired of seeing them and I don't even own one.

I can say for a fact that I tried last week to get parts for my Baron 30's and and was told parts are hard to get. What gets me is this on line Heli shop still has them on there web site knowing they can't get parts. Heli Proz

Owners of Kalt helis will either scramble to purchase all existing stock of kits and parts (in order to keep their heli in the air) or attempt to sell their used helis immediately :=( The same dilemma was existed for TSK owners. I still fly the Kalt Enforcer, for which I have 2 helis flying, 4 new ones, and a massive parts inventory.

I called Heliproz yesterday and asked about Kalt and the parts situation.Talked to Kurt I think.He said Baron Parts would be here next week.I guess we can wait and see.I personally dont fly a Kalt But owned a few of them years back .The best choppers I have ever had.Beats the crap out of the JR I have now.If a certain online hobby shop does know something and they are misleading people they are digging a serious hole with a very close nit consumer base.
