Miniature Aircraft Nitro/Gas Helicopters > Two more Fury questions

I bought my Fury with the SAB blades. I noticed they come with a spacer. Does the spacer go on top of the blade or underneath?
Secondly, The manual says to just screw the ball links on the TR pushrod (from servo to bellcrank) till they tighten up on the graphite tube. Doing so, with the bellcrank vertical the pushrod is too long to maintain 90 degrees at the servo. Is it suppposed to be this way or do I need to shorten the graphite tube? I measure I need to cut off 2-3mm.
Thanks,,,basmntdweller

I had the same question when building my Fury. I ended up trimming the 2mm off the carbon tube to maintain the 90 degree orientation. It must have been the right thing to do, it took very little mechanical adjustment to trim the tail when I flew it the first time with the gyro set to normal mode. I'm happy with it

Hope this helps. Instead of cutting the tube, you can always sand or trim some of the plastic off the ball links.

I had the same problem with my Fury the first go around. After the crash I ordered and received the new CF pushrod. The manual says that it is pre-cut in the kit to the right length and that when a new one is ordered, you have to cut it. It seems that the one that included with the kit is TOO LONG. After cutting the new one to the length they stated in the manual, it fit perfectly (the second time)
