Hello,

I just purchased a used Logo 10, this is my first real electric helicopter and I am looking for any Logo 10 hints/tips, especially for a glitch-free radio installation. My goal is light 3D (i.e. inverted, slow speed backwards,/backwards inverted) without bothering the neighbors.

Kontronic 40-6-18 Speed Control
Futaba 148DP PCM Rx
Futaba GY401/9253 on boom mount carbon plate
Futaba 3102 Servo's
12-cell RC2400 packs

Thats great to hear you are getting a Logo 10
They are a lot of fun
Your setup sound great, it should work out great for what you are looking for
There is a great website that will help you with tips and setup

Maybe that motor combination with pinion is a little hot for the Beat, consider a 13 or 14 pinion
otherwise it looks very good

Thanks for the info. From what I have read, looks like a ferrite ring on the ESC lead would be worthwhile to help eliminate radio glitching. Where can ferrite rings for servo leads be purchased?

You can get a ferrite ring from here. Go to this link and look up part number M2599 ($13.45) http://www.fxaeromodels.com/logo1.htm They are out of stock right now, but they get new part in every week, so check back offten. I usually e-mail them and ask when it will be in. They are good and respond to your e-mails within a day or two.
