do governers work well on gassers some people say they do some say they don't i phoned the uk importers and they say they do not work to well and the tsk importer said the same what do you lot think i can not see why it would not work well thanks for your help keep it spinning and off the ground!!

They work very well and I have installed them on a number of them (XCell and JR). Gassers run cooler if running at full speed. They are good for the same reasons they are good on glow machines.

There is another thread somewhere on this site discussing installation of the GV1 system on an Xcell gasser.

I'd be curious as to their reasons for saying they are not good. I've never had any issues and I've never heard of any issues, with the GV1 anyway.

hi there .the uk importes of xl's was saying they do not work to well because of the power curve on the gas motor?? i think it might have some thing to with the fact they are JR main agents.i will put one on and see how it gose? they seem to be a god send the best way to keep the head speed the same all the time thanks for your help .happy flying

GV1

robxlgas,

I had a GV1 on my X-Cell Gasser and it ran VERY well. I used a high speed servo and long servo horn on the throttle. No problems.
