Sorry to be a pain, but as I have never setup ccpm before could you post the pushrod lengths for us.

I have now completed the build and scratching my head on the electrics.

This page looks as if it is a cross reference of EX parts to other brands.

Due to time commitments the Cypher/Macro has been passed on to another club member to complete the review...

I will finish my comments on the new macro parts once it is airborne again...

does anyone know what model the clutch comes from mine seems a bit bent
i had to replace the one way starter bearing as it was starting to fail
but not a problem the local bearing shop ordered one for me that is when i found the clutch a bit bent (might have been my fault when first fitting )
appart from that i have been having great fun flying this heli
i hope gailfray gets some time soon to cary on his testing with the upgrades

I finaly got to fly my Cypher yesterday and was very happy with the general hovering.I had hoped to throw her around a bit, but three quarters of the way through the first tank, while still hovering, I noticed
something drop from the heli. This something was the "o" ring drive belt
to the cooling fan.Fortunately I didn't have the canopy fitted, so I was able to see the broken belt fall from the heli and land before the engine overheated.Has anybody else had this problem?Maybe I just got a bad
belt or maybe it didn't like the speed at which it was running. I would
guess that the head speed was around 1900 which puts the cooling
fan at around 35000 rpm.I have now fitted a slightly thicker "o" ring
but don't know if it will stand up any better than the original.
Also my Cypher is fitted with a home made auto unit and an anti-rotation guide for the swash plate, the anti-rotation guide is well worth
the effort.Has anybody auto'd the Cypher in standard form?
If anyone has any ideas on improving the belt drive, please let me know.

Nivlek

the belt can break due to alignment problems with the 2 pulleys...

I set mine so that the fan shroud rests on the front of the engine case and then got the alignment right..

Belt stood up fine...

In standard form the lack of auto gear does sem to sap auto power
