Hi
I have just bought a new receiver battery (1800 mah 4.8v) and I am not sure if I have a suitable charger to give it a first cherge.
I've got a 'multi Q' field charger which is a fast charger and a 'Robbe accu-fit' which is a cycler. I have 'Futaba' wall charger which charges both Tx and Rx but only at 70mah.
Do I have to buy charger just for this new battery. BTW I have a 1100mah 9.6v battery for my Tx and I have been using the 'Futaba' charger for an extended period for slow charging and the 'multi Q' at the field.

Thanks

My litco manual states that you should charge a new battery on c-10 for around 3 days...the wall charger is a c-10 charge...FWIW..Latr

An ideal prime charge should be at a C/10 rate in your case 180 mah for about 18 hours.

Thanx for the info guys, looks like I'm in line for a new charger then.
I'll try and get one that covers both the 1800mah and the 1100mah at the correct charging rate.

Check out a Triton, reasonably priced.
