| I don't konw why we can't have both.. I just bought the R50 this week. My goal for 2 years has been to have an xcell 60, and changed to the fury when it came out. But, I don't plan on getting rid of my 50. I concidered taking the $285 for the R50 and putting it toward a fury, but I could almost get 3 R50's for the price of one fury, at least 2!! Not to mention $50 more for the engine. Or getting a new radio that will handle CCPM, and better servo's. My non super 8 will not do CCPM right. I know, you can mix it, but its not as good and a big hassle. Bottom line for me is this, a fury would be a great second heli, but not good for my ONLY heli. I think I woudl hinder my learning curve because I would be thinking about how expensive it was and intricate and purdy!
I am at the stage in my heli life where I a starting to get daring, trying inverted hovering, funnel, etc.. The last thing I need is to dork in a 700 chopper. I'll get them down on the R50 first, acquire and fly the fury when I want precision and smoothness on the tricks I have down pat.
