Loss of an unknown friend

Very, very, very unfortunate..... Although I didn't know him he taught me to have more respect for my machines for sure. I think I'll always be keeping an eye open from now on even if I'm not flying. My sincerest condolences to all involved.

I'm not sure if this is known yet but the ronkylefund is now set up on www.rotorworks.net.

Hi All, I'm very sad at the moment, one of our members posted this on our local heli site and I came here as fast as I could. Please post the details of where we can help. I'm in.

As an aside, I think Naomi has a great Idea but why not take it one step further, why don't we get an icon for all our heli related websites, you know, something like the ribbons people wear to show support for a cause. I know I wouldn't hesitate to put one on our club site. Clicking on this icon could take us to a webpage offering a memorial and perhaps some safety guidelines to remind us how quickly something so tragic can happen to even the best of us.

Any graphic designers out there that can help?

Gentlemen & Ladies,
I have been in discussion with Paypal and have setup an account that goes thru mine eventually into Ron's checking account where his brother Darrell has access. Paypal assured me that this would act independently and easily reconcileable. I will act as the Fund administrator and will be happy to offer full reconciliations to any donaters should anyone feel the need to know. I just want all to know that their money will make it to where it's been sent!

I spoke to the family today over lunch for sometime. The only survivor is Darrell as the parents have passed away and the two boys are all that remains. Well, now it's one.....

Darrell is in a somber mood and they are simply in shock still. I can tell you that your financial support if it was EVER going to a good cause this would be it.......as they weren't expecting funeral costs for a 41 yr old guy.

Mark Ryder and I have been in dialog about setting up a few links here on RR to kick off the donations. Please hang in there and lets show the world that the RC Heli Community defines dedication and loyalty just as Ron Kyle did for us!
