| Yes...I am admitting stupidity.
I'm almost done w/ my Eolo electric and was adjusting the pitch so I had the motor pinion gear off so the motor could run free while I adjusted things.
I put all back together and found that L/R was still backwards (CCPM issues)
I took the main blades off and was switching the servo reverses and wham! I ust have hit the throttle reverse...full power...tail rotates about 90 degrees and the tail rotor bit me just above the elbow. Nice cut and bruise and worse...busted tail rotor pitch change lever. (Oh, and bruised ego)
Make sure to remove that pinion while adjusting your electric or put connectors on going to the motor and disconnect it.
I don't think I'll be going THAT again! |
