Hi guys,

I am just curious, if I saw correctly there were graphite frames for sale at the Birmingham Funfly. Has anybody tried them with a 60 engine. Can it be done??

Thanks,

The only limiting factor for using the new extra long mainshaft and third bearing block is that you must have the matte finish frames (speaking of G10 ones) for it be a drop in installation. Earlier generation shiny G10 frames would need to be drilled to accept the third block. I have one such set, and it doesn't seem to be a bigh deal to locate and drill the holes. I'm not sure if any carbon frames were ever cut that didn't have the specified holes in place for the third bearing block.
