Well, we had an approaching Hurricane on Sat and Sunday But What the heck is a little wind? The plankers were in full "cross wind" mode and barrier's and helmets seemed like a good idea. Tom flew the h@@l out of his previously "Woofing" Raptor and had trouble keeping it "up wind". I flew a little (very little) not so much because of the wind but because of blowing "fluff" "like milkweed". It got into everything, what a mess! I did manage to get my G2 up and running on my new Dell, running XP but that's another story.

G2 on XP

I have a friend that just upgraded to XP, his Real Flight Deluxe is now quite broken. Can you describe the hoops you had to jump through to get G2 up and running on XP.

Well, I E-Mailed Scott Kemp at Knifeedge:<"Scott Kemp"scott_kemp@knifeedge.com>
He then directed me to a Beta server to download a "new" control panel and a new driver for the joystick as well as an updated (XP friendly) version of the program. The down load included the steps to install the driver because it is not "automatic". I had no problems with the install and it now works great.

SENECA,

What ever happened with your R50? Did you fly it? did you like it?

Great!, I'm glad you like it.

You're going to love the Sceadu 50 too. It's pretty amazing and with 600 V-Blades it's even better. You'll find that it being a bit heavier than the rappy will be a bit less overpowered (not that it is not still overpowered) but the flight precision is much much better. Adjusting the paddle weight makes it as wild as you like and I find taking the brass ones off to be the perfect mixture.

Interesting that you and Volkul have had problems with the OS-50. I got mine from Asia and I never had any problems. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I'm using Cool Power 30% what are you using?

Nice Signature Logo

Augusto,

I really like your ColeopTer signature logo, that's very cool. You should post the dictionary definition for those who may not know that it's the name of a fly that's stressed to a 100G's and flys in those wierd square patterns all day.

mumbling, let see if I turn the R around, and.....

Hey Richard,

I'm back in the good'ol USA.
Coleopter is a member of the Coleoptera which is the family of insects that the dragon fly belongs to.
In other words it includes to the insects that fly like helicopters.
