Hey guys,

Just finished the final settings on my new Fury, fueled it up and went to start it for the first time and found out I had no way to connect to the starter. I have the Pegae start system with the hex adapter to start my other helis and remove the hex adaptor for the straight shaft, but the Fury has a 6mm start shaft and the starter is made to fit an 8mm shaft.

Am I missing something or do I need to buy an adapter?

since you already have the 6mm hex,
you'd probably be best off w/ the MA4686-3
6mm hex female coupler that fits on the Fury.

Pegae Starter Adapter on FURY

I have been using Pegae's standard 6mm adapter on my Fury for almost a year now and unfortunately it has a tendency to rub on the PEG nut which comes close (starter one-way bearing is getting "machined").
A solution that I am now going to try is to get their part #1049 shaft which is 1/2" longer then the one I am currently using (#1039). That will hopefully solve my problem.
The Pegae Starter System is the best for me and I want to stick to it with all my helis.

I really like my Pegae start system too. I took z11355's advice and got the MA4686-3 start adapter to convert to the hex. So far works great. Lots of clearance, I was a little worried about the fact it only has one set screw to secure it on. I hope it will hold up. Time will tell.

Loving the new Fury, only about four tanks through it so far but really smooth and solid as a rock
