Hey,

what power supply do you use for your chargers that only have a 12V input?

Does anybody use the new RadioShack 25 Amps? Is there another one at a lower price, with about 20-30A ??

Where can i get one from?

MFJ Enterprises has a great power supply. 22A cont. and 25A peak.

Its just 99.99 at: http://www.palcoelectronics.com/

Florian

P.S. Works everywhere in the world, because of the input voltage is changable. 115V & 230V and every frequency... Great Power Supply.

I purchased a 10 amp regulated Pyramid power supply for my Triton from here:

http://store.yahoo.com/bsless/ps12kx.html

for $37 plus shipping, couldn't be happier.

They also have a 20 amp for $67:

Some people use a computer power supply (8A )with banana plugs on it. I have one for $20.00 + shipping if you want it.

I have one like the one Gyan is selling (used PC power supply). It works great and is very cost effective.

I've also seen Greg's (GPyros). It a nice power supply as well.

Power Supply

Get yourself a 40 amp "Switched" Power Supply and it will light up the township.
You then won't be buying something else in two years!

Hey,

well, if my charger only takes up MAX 20A then a 25A is safe enough!!

Florian

P.S. Those 40s are expensive as hell!

I have been using the Radio Shack 25 amp power supply for 6 months It works great. It was a great price too. They are discontinued. I got mine for $60.00. I was going to make one out of a couple of computer power supplies but at this price it wasn't worth the hassle. I have an Orbit pro. It is capable of 8.0 amps output. I think it is a 250 watt charger. The Radio Shack power supply is a switching type of power supply. I like this type better. They run cooler.

You can get those 40s for less if you take your time. Though I don't know if this brand and type is sold overseas ...
