Has anyone had to return anything from an order to Ctberheli?

I recently ordered a Raptor 60V2 with some MS blades, unfortunately with my inexperience I ordered blades that have a 4mm root hole, the Raptor 60 has a 5mm bolt. So, how do I go about returning these blades for the correct ones. I've tried emailing Cyberheli (over a week ago) and have got no reply, have checked the web site and unless i've missed it, there doesn't seem to be any written proceedure for returns.

Help, Raptor 60V2 with no blades!!!!!!!!!!

Why don't you just drill out to 5mm, or get someone with a drill stand to do it for you? Some blades come with different sized bushes to fit different helis. Are you sure there are no extra bushes, I am not familiar with MS blades. If you are near Essex side I could do them for you.

from what i've heard they are slow to repond to their mail, but they do respond in the end.

Let us know how this goes, i'm thinking of ordering some stuff from them and would like to know what their service level is like

Cyberheli

Good luck.... They ship fast..... service the customer slow. I suggest you just try to sell them. I had a problem with them with a defective product.

Trying to deal with them will be a waste of your time. By the time you return it (assuming you can), you lost any savings you made.

Denis,

Wasn't aware that you could drill them out. Would you then have to get new bushes? the blades didn't come with 5mm ones. If it's possible to do, I'm near Dartford and if you're willing I'd be grateful.

Yes the response to my order was excellent, 3 days from Hong Kong. A little dissapointed that having ordered the whole kit a caboodle that they didn't realise that I'd ordered the wrong blades for the Raptor 60 but hey.

So, you'll be pushed to order at a better price but make sure you order what you want.

Guys, the solution to ur problem is very simple....donot return the Blades and donot drill them either ......ever......I have a rap 60 and bought SAB blades from Cyber too....Stephen must have just forgotten to put 4 very sipmle Aluminium mesh....I am not sure how they are called, but this is a known solution....what u do is fit those mesh in the blade holders one up and one down and then u can just use a 4mm screw that will do the job perfectly.... I have been flying with those for 2 years.... Just call any good heli shop close to u , and ask for the Mesh...wish I had a digital Cam to show u ...they will not cost u more that 2 €....good luck

Just drill them, I'd bet that they all come out of the same mould and are drilled afterwards anyway. Go for the pillar drill option if you can but if you are very careful you could do it without.

Thanks guys,

I'll definately have an ask around about the "Mesh" things, cause if they save drilling a set of new blades then that's got to be a better option. Did you have to buy new bolts then?

Hold Up!

I've had a return to Cyberheli and it was handled quickly and efficiently.

Do what you want with the blades (What the heck are you buying Modelsports for?), but Cyberheli has a special email address for dealing with returns. There are specific instructions under "Contact Us"
and they will get back to you within 24 hours. You need your invoice number otherwise they will ignore the email.

I sent back a synth module for a 9z and had it's replacement to Canada in less than two weeks. That includes mailing it back to Hong Kong as cheaply as I could.

Cyberheli rocks,

Blair,

Thanks for your input, what blades do you suggest then? as obviously MS were the wrong choice, in your opinion. The only Email addres under the contact us banner that could possibly apply is the warranty one, which is the one I sent my mail to. Point me in the right direction if it's wrong.

Totally agree, Cyberheli rocks.

You will always get differing advice but the choice is yours. You could sell the MS blades to somebody with the 4mm bolt holes or as i said, I can drill them out for you. I fly at Maldon in Essex so am not that far from Dartford. If you are a beginner or newbie we could also go over the heli and check it out. Not inferring you did a bad job but sometimes a little help... er.. helps
PM me if you want to get together.

Yup, Use the Warranty address.

Buy the SAB's....they are an infinitley better blade compared to the Modelsports.
