Hello Everyone,

I am new to this group and would like some advice.

I am seriously looking at buying the Logo 10, it will be my first serious heli, will it make a suitable first purchase? How complex is it to fly?

I have been practising on a Century Hummingbird which runs only on a 4 channel transmitter, how difficult will it be moving over to a 6 channel?

Many thanks,

Andy.

Hi Andy,

I started on a Logo 10 myself and had never flown anything before.
And I have been extremely satisfied with my choice. The Logo 10 is pretty simple to build and - in my *very* limited experience - it is very stable and easy to learn to fly.

As for the 4 or 6 channel transmitter, you shouldn't find it any more difficult to use a 6+ channel tx. You will still use the sticks in the same way. The only new thing is to program the tx with throttle curves and gyro sensitivity and that should be no problem if you read the instructions to the tx.

So my - completely biased - advice is: go ahead and get yourself a Logo 10 and have fun

First Time Buy - LOGO 10

Hi Again,

I've been reading lots of unhappy reports about the tail rotor pitch slide fork on this forum. As I stated in my post yesterday, this will be my first major heli buy, have the newer kits got the upgraded part or is it still not available in the UK yet?

All advice would be greatly received on this before I spend my hard earned money on purchasing the kit.

Thanks,

Andy.

I have been very happy with mine.
it is my second helicopter, i had a corona first. I think that if you have been flying the hummingbird that you will find this is actually easier in a lot of ways. it is more stable, more consistant to fly and although windy days will throw it around. it will do just fine on days that you never would have thought to fly the hummingbird outside.
I am still running the original tail pitch slider on mine and it now has 150 flights on it without a failure. I think that if you keep it lubed and it is not hitting the stops hard that they hold up ok. I'm sure the updated one is better though.
fwiw,

Logo 10 First Time Buy

Thanks guys,

Anyone know the price difference in the UK between the Logo 10 and Logo 20?

I have a feeling the 20 will be out of my budget, but hey, we can all dream eh?!!
