hi guys.. i was just curious has anyonre ever run a pitts muffler on there heli engine? and how was the performance? i was thinking on trying one

I haven't... but a pitts muffler with a smoke system would rock!! I'll have to try that someday!! Thanks for the idea

Never tried it.

Pitts mufflers are generally piss-poor at noise reduction, and one thing that most heli fliers is quiet helis.

muffler

I retired another header on my old SRX w/32. I will have it fixed again but until that time I will be using a MACs muffler, you know the black one that look like it came from a dirt bike. It is very quiet with a rubber exhast diverter and the hover is very smooth, but it does not make any extra power. $28.00 buck at LHS.
