Hello All...

Well, I flew my turbine helicopter ( Jetcopter SX ) for the first time. Unbelievable. I have flown just about every type of heli there is, but this is great! Ahhhh.....the smell of jet fuel...brings back memories, but thats another story...

I have a stupid question. Do yall fly off grass? should I fly from a mat of some type to protect the turbine? Any suggestions? I want to throw rocks at my other helis now.

Jetcopter vs Grass

I have flown my Jetcopter off of grass and do so every time i fly it. there is a FOD screen on the intake side of the turbine which will catch any loose blades of grass. if the field is clean then continue to fly from grass surface if you are really concerned than bring a piece of carpet with you and use that as a heli pad.

i was there when he flew it , im still smelling it 2 hours later , i was very impressed on how stable it was am looking forwart to seeing it fly again
