Cobra: THE TANKS MOUNT EXTERNALLY !! looks like a lugage carrier strapped around the heli !! UGLY as can be ...

H500: really big !!! the fuselage is around 2' wide !! only potential problem is the exhaust coming straight out the back ... too much forward thrust, unless you use the Vario pipe that deverts some of that exhaust sideways, but then you have holes cut on the sides of the fuse ..

EC-135: if you follow the instructiions, the fensetron is not all that hard to set up ... this is also a nice sized helicopter for a turbine, plenty of space

Thanks for the Help Chaps.
I have just returned from the local shop with a Vario Cobra.
I chose this because:
1. He did not have the EC135 in stock.
2. The forward thrust issues with the Hughes ( probably would not fit car. anyway)

So now I have to buil it. Yes the external tanks are pig ugly, perhaps I can squeeze a internal tank in somewere.
Any sugestions on colour scheme, as I am not keen on the Vario "Fire" and Army colours.

cobra colors

Peter you are limited to color schema's with the cobra, most cobras where painted in OD and some are black. you can find a few in desert colors like the one vario painted. below are a few sites for the tow cobras. to bad vario did not make a Super Cobra as there are a few more color schemas for that model.
