| Dear Nt pilots,
Just back of a nice holiday in Austria (klagenfurt).Having small problems with the setting up of my Nt, I decided to get some help and take some holiday on the same time.On the internet I found http://www.heli4you.net/ , a henseleitspecialist in Austria.(the only European reseller for henseleit in Europe)
I leaved Belgium and arrived in Klagenfurt where Harry Zupanc waited for me.
Heli4you is a small company , Harry is the salesmanager , supported by Baby herman and Rudy and Tommy. They are all testpilots and developers for Webra and believe me, they now a lot about Heli’s and engines.
First of all , I had a problem with my gyro, I had a futaba gy 601 and had problems when I would make stallturns! Suddenly , the gyro wouldn’t work, (subject already discussed in Runryder before), so I replaced the 601 and I putted the 401 inside and no more problems anymore.
Harry tried the 601 in his freya and the gyro was working very well, so they are looking what’s wrong with the 601 and the NT!
After Harry let me try his NT with the Webra(I had a OS FX91), what a difference, a lot more power! This engine was really running very smooth , it was running with 5% nitro , lotterlecarb with 2.1 needle, you can use it from 5 to 30% nitro and a lot more easy than the Webra carb.
So, I changed also my engine, put the Webra in with the lotterlecarb(and gear ratio 8.3) and it’s really nice now, and this one it’s hard to bog down.
Harry soldered also bigger wires of the batterie to the safetyswitch(my gallery) for high current drain.
He also let me try the CR blades, they take a lot less power than the NHP blades, I had small vibrations at high rotorspeed, we changed the blades and I had no vibrations anymore.
Now I really like my NT , it’s a powerhorse, I am using now wildcat fuel 15% nitro and the webra really likes it.
Small tip from Webra’s testpilot Peter for running in : first 4 gallons: do not overspeed the engine 14000 max rpm and t° not over 120°C with 12.5% nitro and 110 °C with 20% nitro.
The pistonring is the secret ,so if it’s running in well , power will increase, if not, you lose power all the time , that’s it’s why it’s important not overspeed the engine and bring it to his max rpm.
The hatori 700 works well with 47cm with the 12.5 and 5 mm longer with the 20%.
I had a Millennium before, and I heard also a lot things about the NT: vibrations, fail safe …, but now I know I am happy to have seen the Heli4you team, and they really gives me great support, and I can say you now that the NT is a great helicopter.
I also heard that Jan brings out a small NT next year ( 30 size 50 engine…)
at a very good price, so we will see….
I just can say you all, when you are in Austria , go and see Heli4you, a lot of fun, great NT support and of course nice Austrian beer after flying.
Thanks Harry ,
